Or how to fix it? To refresh the whole screen, I have to do something like click and drag one window into every part of the screen. Optionally, ensure that the VirtualBox installation was pulled directly from the source repository and check the current version installed using the apt-cache policy command. Furthermore, when I click back, the only part that gets refreshed and stops showing just a pure black screen is whatever window I clicked on to make active. With the setup complete, execute the installation command to install VirtualBox. In Linux Mint however, when I click over to do some work in the host, the entire screen turns black, preventing me from seeing what I was working on in the guest system. In Ubuntu, when I am doing something in the guest, and click over to do something on the Windows host, I click on the other monitor, type something, and everything looks fine. For instance, I have a dual monitor setup, which I will usually use as one for the host and one for the guest. The problem I am having is that after the installation (which goes fine) and installing VBoxGuestAdditions (which also works fine) I have been getting some graphical errors that do not occur in a similar standard Ubuntu 32 bit guest. I am currently running a Windows 7 圆4 host and installing a Linux Mint 32 bit guest.
